Chapter 15

A strange heat that began at the tip of her tongue spread throughout her entire body. His breath, which boldly invaded her mouth, softly swept through Bo Bae’s interior. She was currently in such a sensitive state that she could feel every single papilla on the tip of his tongue.

It was their second kiss. The first had been started by him, and the second by Bo Bae, though this time, she had only intended to lightly touch lips.

"Mm-mnh!"

An embarrassing moan escaped through her lips, but she had no room to worry about that. Ho Rang’s tongue was pushing even deeper.

Trapping Bo Bae within his broad embrace, Ho Rang relentlessly delved into her. His tongue stimulated her by grazing against her even teeth and tapping against the roof of her mouth.

The deeper he entered, the more confused Bo Bae became about what she was actually doing, whether she was testing the charging speed or simply enjoying the kiss itself.

However, she didn't deliberate for long. No, she didn't even have the chance to, as she found herself subconsciously reciprocating, losing herself in him.

"Haah. Haa..."

The two, catching their breath for a moment, sought out each other's lips once more as if by unspoken agreement. Their ragged breaths became hopelessly entangled. To their embarrassment, the wet, smacking sounds of the kiss filled the house, but neither Ho Rang nor Bo Bae had any intention of stopping. It was a dense, sultry kiss that left their entire bodies feeling drenched.

Just as she was about to delve even deeper into Ho Rang.

Beep-beep-beep! Beep-beep-beep!

The sudden sound of an alarm coming from somewhere startled them, causing them to break apart.

With flushed cheeks, moist lips, and disheveled hair, it was obvious to anyone that a wave of erotic tension had just swept over them. Bo Bae, however, tried her best to suppress her emotions and act nonchalant.

"Ahem. Where is that sound coming from?"

As Bo Bae looked around to find the source of the alarm that had interrupted their kiss, Ho Rang gave a faint smirk.

His lips were glistening with Bo Bae’s saliva. Just as she was about to turn her face away in embarrassment, Ho Rang showed her his smartwatch.

"Fully charged."

Bo Bae’s eyes widened as she checked the watch.

She had had her doubts. She had kissed him half-expecting to be tricked, merely giving his word the benefit of the doubt. Yet, the battery that had been at 68% was now suddenly at 100%. Bo Bae had been grumbling about how it wouldn't charge properly even after being together for hours, yet a single kiss had brought it to a full charge!

As Bo Bae stared at him with shocked eyes, Ho Rang replied as if it were no big deal.

"Now, do you feel like keeping Clause 3?"

"When did you find out?"

Bo Bae’s gaze as she asked was quite serious. After all, Ho Rang himself had been very surprised when he first realized this. He had wasted quite a bit of time before accepting the absurd fact that charging happened faster whenever they engaged in physical contact.

"On the rooftop, after our first kiss."

"Heh."

Bo Bae recalled that time she was hospitalized. She did think Ho Rang’s behavior, following her around like a puppy after that kiss, was strange.

"Why are you only telling me this now?"

Until now, she had only vaguely guessed that there might be some connection between her and Ho Rang. But seeing this now, she was 100% certain. She was sure that her electrical abilities were linked to this man.

"Would anything have changed if I told you back then?"

If he had told her then, she wouldn't have let her pride get in the way, she would have been more aggressive. She would have asked him to date her.

She wouldn't have wasted any time!

"Stop glaring and just sign the contract. And do something about your hair."

"My hair? What’s wrong with my hair?"

"Because I was just... messing it up..."

"Messing up what...?"

As she asked, Bo Bae noticed his face turning crimson. Only then did she remember Ho Rang running his hands through her hair while they were kissing.

Bo Bae’s face flushed hot in turn. His breath, which had delved into her both softly and intensely, still felt as if it were licking her lips, causing her to subconsciously bite down on them.

"Ahem."

Bo Bae let out a fake cough and reached up to smooth her hair. As she brushed through it haphazardly, Ho Rang spoke up.

"Not there."

"Here?"

"No, the left."

"Here?"

"No, I said the left, the left."

Shouting irritably, Ho Rang stepped closer and tidied Bo Bae’s hair for her.

"I told you it was here, why can't you get it right?"

"This isn't just the left, it's the back-left."

"Since I was holding the back of your head when we kissed earlier, of course it would be..."

As the word 'kiss' slipped from his mouth again, the two of them turned away abruptly as if on cue. They both let out loud, competitive fake coughs, "Ahem!" "K-ahem!", as if they were in a contest to see who could do it better.

"Just do it yourself."

"I was going to."

Embarrassed, the two yelled at each other. Bo Bae, having roughly fixed her hair, grabbed a pen and began scribbling something on the contract. After writing for quite a while, she held the contract out to Ho Rang.

"I added a few things too. Check them over."

Ho Rang frowned slightly as he looked at the contract Bo Bae handed him. The contents were things they had already agreed upon, but that last sentence really bothered him. Or was it that he didn't like it?

"Is there a problem?"

"Do you really have to go this far?"

"This is what I want."

"..."

Ho Rang stared intensely at the words Bo Bae had written. Although the condition she set weighed on a corner of his heart, he couldn't back out of a contract he had already decided to enter.

"Fine. Let's proceed like this."

At Ho Rang’s answer, Bo Bae beamed.

There it was again. She had smiled like this on the hospital rooftop when the sunlight landed on her face. She had smiled like this on the rooftop of her apartment as the sun was setting. And now, she was doing it again.

Dazzlingly beautiful.

Every time it happened, Ho Rang had to firmly suppress his heart, which was acting against his will. It seemed his heart had completely lost its function after the surgery went wrong. Or perhaps his eyes for judging people had run out of battery.

But why did that 'kiss-maniac' keep looking so pretty? Why...?

As he stared blankly at Bo Bae’s face, her voice reached him.

"Can I look around the house?"

"Huh? Oh. Sure. Go ahead."

Startled, Ho Rang gestured for her to go, and Bo Bae stood up from the sofa. She had glanced around the house earlier, but she wanted to see it more closely.

"I've seen enough of the living room."

Bo Bae trotted towards the kitchen. A luxurious yet simple kitchen came into view. White tiles and a sink, upper cabinets accented with natural wood, and stylish teacups and cooking utensils.

"Wow. It’s really pretty."

It felt like delicious food would practically make itself if one cooked in a place like this.

Bo Bae imagined herself cooking with Ho Rang. The two of them wearing couple aprons, preparing ingredients to bake a delicious cake. While working hard on the dough, a playful Bo Bae would throw flour at him, sparking a cute war. Throwing flour, smearing whipped cream on faces, flicking chocolate like bullets. Then, with a sudden change in his gaze, Ho Rang would lift Bo Bae up and set her on the counter. He would lean in and overlap their lips...

Kyaa! Just thinking about it was fun.

Bo Bae moved toward the dining room, imagining the things that might happen in the future.

The dining room was set up in front of a sunlit window, offering a clear view of the yard. Well-tended flowers, trees, and even a small pond. Eating here would surely spark a romantic atmosphere out of nowhere.

On a dark night, with pretty lights turned on here and there, Ho Rang and Bo Bae would dine together while listening to music. Ho Rang would cut a well-cooked steak into small pieces and feed them to her, and Bo Bae would chew them up. Watching her lovably, Ho Rang, unable to hold back any longer, would place Bo Bae on the table and begin a hot kiss...

Kyaa! I love just imagining it!

Every corner was so beautiful and full of sentiment that one wouldn't even need to try to set the mood. It was the kind of place where even a man and woman who were enemies would develop feelings after spending just an hour or two together.

Bo Bae smiled subtly at Ho Rang. Although they had contracted to have a 'real' relationship, she couldn't fully trust him. It was a real relationship in name only. It was obvious he would say something else later.

Therefore, Bo Bae intended to capture his heart by any means necessary during the three months she would spend here. After having a deep romance, her first and potentially last, she would use that experience to write her manuscript. Even if the memories eventually faded, she would squeeze out every last drop of them like bone broth to write her story. She would love beautifully and part ways sorrowfully.

Before entering this house, Bo Bae had made up her mind. She would have a love that would be unforgettable to her mind, no, her heart. Even if Ho Rang didn't feel the same, Bo Bae would love him sincerely. And with those heart-fluttering emotions, she would write a love story.

The set was perfect. Since she had moved into a house perfect for falling in love, all that was left was to let her love with Ho Rang sprout.

Bo Bae smiled with satisfaction and asked.

"Where is my room?"

Ideally, she wanted it to be close to Ho Rang’s room. The room next door? The room across? Or maybe even the same room?

As she looked around with a grin, Ho Rang stood up and guided her to a room.

"It’s this way."

His house was a two-story building, and it seemed the first floor consisted only of the kitchen, bathroom, and dining room. Naturally, she assumed the bedrooms would be on the second floor, but he was heading outside.

"Is there a room outside too?"

When Bo Bae asked with a bewildered expression, Ho Rang jerked his chin toward a spot in the yard.

"Over there."

"...?"

"That’s where you'll be staying starting today."

Bo Bae checked the place Ho Rang was pointing to and doubted her eyes. She had been imagining a romantic future in his atmospheric house, but what stood before her was...

"You want me to stay in that container?"

"Why? You don't like it? I prepared it specially for you."

Unlike the fuming Bo Bae, Ho Rang replied with a shrug. His slightly smiling face was world-class handsome, yet she wanted to kill him for it.
